Rev. Coats was a pastor at Englewood Presbyterian Church from 1972 to
1997. Since then, he has served as interim pastor at several area
churches during his retirement. He also wrote religion and life articles
for the Rocky Mount Telegram for 8 years and published a book with his
favorite collection of articles.
Not only is Rev. Coats an invaluable employee for our mobile support
services at Coats Veterinary Hospital; he is also the father of Marshall
Coats, owner of Coats Veterinary Hospital. We are very proud to have his
